This unit focuses on the theme of role models and heroes, using Egyptian figures such as Dr. Samira Moussa, Dr. Gamal Hemdan, and Dr. Mohamed Ghoniem, as well as a story about children learning values. Students practice reading for specific details, listening for main ideas and details in interviews and dialogues, speaking about personal role models, and writing a biography paragraph. The unit also includes vocabulary building with prefixes and suffixes, and grammar practice on the past simple tense, including regular and irregular verbs and the verb 'to be' in the past.
