1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Quizzia ("the platform" or "the service"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you are a teacher, you confirm that you have the right to process your students' data for educational purposes.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

  • The information you give when registering must be accurate and up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use.
  • Students take quizzes created by their teachers. Students under 18 need a parent's or guardian's consent before using the platform.
  • Parents can create a parent account to follow their child's progress.
  • You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.

3. Subscriptions and Payment

  • Some features are available only on paid plans. Prices are in Egyptian Pounds (LE), and each plan's features and limits are shown in the platform.
  • Payments are made through the payment methods shown in the platform (such as InstaPay or Vodafone Cash). Your subscription is activated after we review and confirm your payment receipt.
  • Any receipt you upload must be genuine and belong to a payment you actually made. Uploading a forged receipt results in immediate account suspension.
  • We may change prices or plan features. Changes apply only to future subscription periods.
  • If your subscription ends and is not renewed, your account returns to the free plan and its limits. Your content is kept.

4. Use of the Service

You may not:

  • Misuse, disrupt, or attack the platform, or try to access data you are not authorized to see.
  • Copy or republish platform content or other teachers' content without permission.
  • Upload content that is unlawful or offensive, or that infringes others' rights.
  • Use automated tools to scrape data from the platform.
  • Cheat in quizzes or help others cheat.

5. Academic Integrity

Teachers may enable anti-cheating features, such as recording tab switches or leaving the quiz page. These events are recorded and shown to the teacher, who alone decides how to act on them.

6. Content and Ownership

  • Teachers keep ownership of the questions and content they create. They grant us a limited license to host, process, and display it as needed to provide the service.
  • Teachers confirm that the content they upload does not infringe anyone else's intellectual property rights.
  • The platform's design, logo, and software remain the property of Quizzia.

7. AI Features

AI grading and question generation are assistive tools, and their results may contain mistakes. Teachers should review generated questions before publishing them and remain responsible for final grades. These features may have usage limits depending on your plan.

8. Accuracy and Availability

We aim for a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may carry out maintenance, and add, change, or discontinue features over time.

9. Suspension and Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate an account for violating these Terms, for payment fraud, or to protect the service and its users.
  • You can ask us to delete your account at any time by contacting us. Your data is handled according to the Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of data or profits. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Quizzia harmless from any claims arising from your content, your misuse of the platform, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The Egyptian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes inside the platform or by email. If you keep using the service after changes take effect, you accept them.
